Rick Bender has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years holding key senior leadership roles for some of the top national insurance carriers. His background includes Senior Management positions in National Underwriting, Product Development, Marketing and Training. Rick is also a sought-after keynote speaker on how to uncover hidden insurance carrier contractual advantages and pitfalls. His unique “insider” background provides his clients with unprecedented insights and leverage to negotiate product and pricing combinations unmatched by other benefit brokers and consultants.

Rick is regarded as one of the nation’s leading experts in disability programs and is also the past President of the Employee Benefit Planning Association (EBPA) of Greater Los Angeles. His additional specialties also include Public Sector benefit plans and Labor Relations Consultation.

Rick hails from Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He’s been married for 28 years and has two sons.
